Department of Hotel Management

Introduction

The Hotel Management Graduate Program at Kyung Hee University offers a new and dynamic approach to Hotel related
graduate studies. The program includes a full range of philosophical outlooks and key principles, academic theory and
professional practice. The degree programs have been designed to provide a broad but thorough study of hotel
management and hotel-related disciplines while allowing students to pursue their own interest in more specialized aspects
of the subject. Students can earn a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Hotel Management.
Educational Objectives in the Hotel Management Graduate Program at Kyung Hee University are:
• To expose students to the philosophical and theoretical foundations which identify Hotel Management as an academic
field;
• To provide students with a broad range of theoretical and practical knowledge concerning Hotel Management in order
to transform them into the top professionals in the industry, and;
• To develop students’ competitiveness in the field of Hotel Management as scholars, government officials, policy
makers, practitioners, CEOs, or as experts in any other major roles related to the field.
